Mälardalen University is proud to offer international students from select countries outside of the EU/EEA and Switzerland, a prestigious scholarship opportunity. The Mälardalen University Scholarship Programme is designed to financially support highly qualified students who are seeking a Master’s degree in any subject offered by the university, and who are applying through Sweden’s national admissions portal.
The scholarship will cover 100% of the tuition fees for the program of your choice, provided you follow the normal study plan, which requires a minimum of 22.5 credits per semester, and a minimum of 45 credits per academic year. However, living expenses are not included in the scholarship. Please note that the scholarship is not open to students from countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation, namely, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Students from these countries should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship.
To be considered for the scholarship, you must first apply for an eligible Master’s program at Mälardalen University, with the university as your first choice, through the website www.universityadmissions.se. Make sure you have paid the application fee on time. Once you have completed your application, fill out the scholarship form, and submit it along with your other documents to University Admissions Sweden before 1 February 2024.
