Apply now for the 2024 Landscape Leadership Camp and join a dynamic cohort of young visionaries from across the continent. Co-designed by the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) and the Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL), this transformative experience will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, just before the GLF Africa 2024 Hybrid Conference. This immersive camp aims to create a vibrant, cross-cultural community of students, young professionals, experts, and community-minded individuals dedicated to driving impactful and transformative change.
Benefits of GLF Landscape Leadership Camp
The camp offers a limited number of full and partial travel scholarships to cover some participants’ travel, accommodation, and associated attendance costs. Scholarships are awarded based on need and merit, considering each applicant’s proposal. Those not receiving a scholarship are encouraged to raise their own funds to attend, with assistance available from the GLF team for fundraising efforts.
Requirements for GLF Landscape Leadership Camp
Young leaders capable of championing landscape action and community-based solutions across Africa are encouraged to apply. Applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35;
- Be citizens of an African country;
- Have a passion for thriving communities and landscapes.

Interested and qualified candidates should visit Global Landscapes Forum to apply. Applicants must submit a one-minute video addressing the question: “How can we achieve climate justice for Africa’s communities, landscapes, and seascapes?”
