Join the AIDS 2024 Social Media Advocacy Program
The International Community of Women Living with HIV (ICW), in partnership with Y+ Global and GNP+, is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for young women advocates living with HIV. We are looking for passionate individuals to amplify their voices at the 25th International AIDS Conference in Munich through our comprehensive social media initiative.
This unique opportunity is open to all young self-identifying women, including transgender, intersex, non-binary, and gender-fluid individuals living with HIV. If you are eager to enhance your social media skills and make a difference, AIDS 2024 in Munich is the perfect platform for you.
About the Program
The AIDS 2024 Social Media Advocacy Program is an immersive 8-week initiative designed to bolster youth engagement and visibility at the conference. Selected participants will serve as social media correspondents, creating dynamic content to showcase conference activities and underscore the theme: Put People First!
Training will encompass social media best practices, organizational posting strategies, effective networking, conference navigation, evidence-based advocacy, and strategic content planning. Our goal is to empower young advocates with the skills needed to represent AIDS 2024, extend the reach of essential HIV response dialogues, and highlight community-led initiatives across various social media platforms.
How to Apply
To apply, please complete the application form and upload a short video explaining why you would like to join the ICW Media Team 2024. All participants will receive a $250 incentive for their contributions.
Application Deadline: May 31, 2024
Time Commitment:
- Training and Content Creation: 2-4 hours per week from June 6 to August 15
- Conference Coverage: 1-2 hours per day from July 22 to July 27
