HiiL Justice Accelerator Programme for African Students

This year, the HiiL Justice Accelerator is dedicated to tackling the most critical challenges identified in the Justice Needs and Satisfaction surveys within focus countries. The culmination of this endeavour was the innovative “Tech the Justice Gap” event held during Demo Day. This event not only showcased the startups that completed the latest Justice Accelerator program but also brought together diverse stakeholders to explore how technology can transform the justice landscape, making it more accessible, affordable, and understandable for everyone.

The HiiL Justice Accelerator Programme offers a comprehensive 4-month initiative that equips participants with various benefits. These include €10,000 in non-equity funding, workshops led by industry experts covering topics like impact measurement and marketing, a dedicated coach and network of mentors, access to a global network of justice practitioners, exposure to international opportunities and potential investments, and the chance to secure up to €20,000 at Demo Day. Startups from MENA, Kenya, and Nigeria with people-centric solutions addressing justice issues, a viable product with traction, a strong team, a revenue model, and scalability ambition are encouraged to apply by the deadline of April 4, 2024, through the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) website at hiiljustice.acceleratorapp.co.
