Our AHEAD Africa Foresight Program is a 3- to 4-month journey designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to think and operate like a top African business professional. With a time commitment of around 40 hours per month, you’ll develop into an all-rounder in business capable of tackling any challenge, making you an asset to any company seeking young professional talent.
Through the AHEAD Africa Foresight Program, you will dive into Africa’s history and current economic context, explore the continent’s evolution from pre-colonial times to its modern economic and democratic landscapes and learn from top guest lecturers along the way. You will also equip yourself with a comprehensive toolkit of business skills that are essential for having an impact as a business professional, including financial analysis, research, and sector-specific insights tailored to African markets. Additionally, you will connect with like-minded professionals across the continent and gain access to exciting freelancing and full-time opportunities to support organizations across Africa upon completion of the program.
To qualify for the program, you need to be aged between 18-35 years, have full fluency in written and verbal English, hail from the African continent or the diaspora, and possess a university degree. The selection process involves signing up on the AHEAD platform from 22 December 2023, completing a one-hour assessment, including a written English test, a reflective thinking quiz, and recording three brief pitch videos. Successful candidates will be informed by 20 January 2024, and the training begins at the end of January 2024. All details will be communicated to successful applicants.
